1. Ez Pz Rats

Ratting is an activity that involves killing NPC ships for their bounty payouts. It’s the simplest form of PVE and it is a recommended activity for pilots of all skill levels.

Hostile NPCs has a bounty payout.

We will only focus on Belt Ratting and not Cosmic Anomaly (Anom) Ratting.

Hostile NPC ship can be easily recognized by 3 methods:

  1. You will see red icons in space. This depends on the class of NPC: bigger ships has larger red icons. 🔺🟥
  2. You can see these red icons in your overview.
  3. If you check the info on each of them, you can see WANTED and a Bounty attached to these ships.

2. Diamond Rats

You will come across NPC Ventures that has a diamond 🔶 attached to their names. This is not the typical Belt Rats or Anomaly rats: these are rats that belong to a higher tier NPC which are involved with FOBs (Forward Operating Base).

These NPCs are to be avoided at all times: DO NOT ENGAGE them.

If you do, a fleet of NPC cruisers, frigates will warp in to your location; you will be scrammed and destroyed immediately.
